Finding Common Ground

“…I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” – (I Corinthians 9:22b-23)

Paul is telling us a plethora of important principles in but a brief statement. First, we must find common ground with those around us. That does not mean we are to partake or indulge in sinful stuff, but rather we must take the time to invest in the lives of those around us, and love them well, where they are at, if we ever hope to have a voice in sharing what matters from our own hearts. Second, we cannot have a know-it-all attitude. Humility is the only way we will ever be heard. Another necessary element in the process is to assure those around us that they are accepted, right where they are. There are no requirements of “cleaning up” to come to Christ, but rather it is a matter of a sincere heart that is seeking Him. We must be sensitive to the needs and concerns of those around us, and do what we can, practically, to help meet their needs. When there is a relationship of trust established, opportunities to share what Christ has done for us personally, will be presented; we need only be available and willing to share.

(Italics above are paraphrased from NIV footnotes for 9:22-23)

To find common ground,Purple flower

we need open our eyes;

take time to invest,

in other people’s lives.

For if we’re not known,

why would they lend an ear?

No one will listen,

’til another draws near.

We must first listen,

hear each heart and each voice;

notice what’s needed,

sincere service our choice.

When we invest time,

and let love be our choice;

our heart will be heard,

despite chaos and noise.

Let Love lead the way,

be faithful to the Lord;

people will notice,

His light can’t be ignored.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You came and showed us the way to love others well. Thank You that You came near to all, and made everyone who came near feel accepted and loved. Thank You that You were always concerned about the needs of those who came, and touched lives as You transformed hearts. Thank You that You sent Your Spirit, so that we too, have the capacity to love, accept, help, and share in such a way, that people may see You. Forgive us for not investing time, or not being sensitive to those around us. Help make us aware of the needs around us, so that we might be Your hands and heart to those who need Your touch, or word of encouragement. May we learn to find common ground with everyone we meet, and allow You room to move as You see fit. May many come to know You as their Savior and King. Be exalted in everything we say and do. Amen.

An Attitude Adjustment

Though the story of Peter being called to go and share the good news in the home of Cornelius has an overarching theme that the gospel is for everyone, the thing that struck me as I read the account in Acts this morning, was Peter’s attitude adjustment, in such a short time.

Back in Matthew 18:1-6, as the disciples were traveling with Jesus, and learning and growing beside Him as He led them, they were arguing one day, about which among them would be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Somehow, in all of the attention, their priorities had become askew. Jesus quickly set the record straight, “And He said: ‘I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child will be greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” -(Matthew 18:3-4)

Fast forward past Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and the impartation of the Holy Spirit. While in Joppa, Peter had been assured in a vision that he was to go to the home of Cornelius, to share the good news of Christ. He willingly went with the men Cornelius had sent, when they had arrived to lead him. “As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. ‘Stand up,’ he said, ‘I am only a man myself.” – (Acts 10:25-26) Peter was quick to humble himself and point Cornelius to Christ. Despite the potential draw of being adored by such a powerful person, Peter prioritized the presentation of truth, and maintained his position of humility as a servant of Christ. Because of Peter’s willing submission to God’s call, Cornelius and his entire household came to Christ. Being a man of high position, I imagine Cornelius had a tremendous impact on many people.

Be humble and kind,An Attitude Adjustment

allow the Lord lead;

be willing to give,

as we see a need.

Trust Him to show us,

what we’re meant to do;

listen to His voice,

faithfully pursue.

Seek not position,

of honor, nor fame;

and if it’s given,

point straight to His Name.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You are our Source and Supply, and the reason we are able to do anything good in this life. Thank You for such great examples of change, as You show us how to be more like Christ in what we say and do. Forgive us for not walking in humility, or for not giving credit where credit is due. Thank You that all good that we do, is done in Your strength, and that the life You are calling us to, is only possible in You. May we be invested in You, so that Your light shines through us. May many come to see Your light through our love, and ultimately, come into a lasting relationship with You. Be exalted, our great and mighty God. Amen.

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; … my hope is in You all day long.

Wells of Salvation

By Pastor Kerry Mauldin
Awesome fruitful day in many villages!!
Went to Tripurarum to dedicate the well given in honor of Rose and Harold Hull’s 50th anniversary.  They have walked nations with us in the past and Harold has gone to be with the Lord.  The well is right in front of the church we built in 2010.  It has grown from 15 to 70 adults and growing and learning!!
we went to hindu homes around the church.  These homes have been greatly blessed by the well.  Mannamma and Siadalu live right by the well and she had been making 15, 20 minute trips daily to carry water.  Now she had 20′ to carry and their hearts were wide open to hear the Gospel.  Both accepted Christ and agree to come first time to church and pull the gods…
The 2nd well dedication was at Hamu Thanda, Banjara (gypsy) village in memory of my Grandma and Grandpa CF and Ollie Mauldin who pastored many years till Grandpa died in 1962.  What a joy to have the heritage they passed down…
These tribals are so humble and giving.  Live in simple houses, but the church given by Verdigris AG is now beautiful!!  Painted and marble floor in simple village.  We visit hindu homes and 15 adults set as we share bracelets of salvation.  They began to talk strong, asking questions and not wanting to pray like a parrot and repeat some words.  Much explaining and English to Telegu to Banjara translations finally won them over.
Pastor and his wife gave their best hospitality and so want us to promise to come back.  700 families and 10 are Christian so far and rest all worship idols…
Now the people will all be coming to the church for water and hearts will open to breaking the curse of sin, sickness and poverty thru the blood of Jesus.
Went to Dokallabavi Thanda–“Stomach well” village- Pastor was not at the small unfinished church so we went to crossroads shops and set to have chili’s and chai.  We gave bracelets and quickly 50 people were standing around us in circle as we did “street meeting”.  They listen quiet and some want to follow Christ.  One young man, a bus driver, was first to speak up.  If a pastor was in this village, we would follow.  This man never preaches, he gets a pension and is only in his house.  We promised follow-up…
Later encouraged, but spoke straight to the pastor, rebuking in a building up way…
So many tools are available to reach a world for Christ!
Thank you all for strengthening our hands…
Dedicate Venganagudem church–nice church that Oolagah AG gave to build!!
Dedicate Haliya Colony Church, built in memory of pastor Notchie Twist in Shulter, OK.  Churchhas grown to 50 adults from 30 just this year since church is built.  We set among the plastic thatch tents many live in and share Christ and enjoy the limes they gave from over our heads…
Fruit is so good!!  6 more villages today!!  Long good days!!
With so much thanks,
Jim, Joshua, Melody and Kerry

Take away & Purge Me O Lord

I woke up early this morning with this song on my heart and I could not help but sing within myself and be at the feet of the Lord. I could not even go back to sleep. Tears streamed as I fell into worship.

May you take a moment to close your eyes and meditate on what this song is about in hopes that you will allow the Lord to remove anything inside of you that keeps you from totally surrendering to him.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 NKJV)

“Oh Father above who knows us greater that anyone, the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Master that reigns above and Who knows every grain of sand covered on land, Who knows every stand of hair on our heads, Who never slumbers nor sleeps but keeps watch over us day and night, Who loves us enough to see to our needs, our wants and desires. You O’ Lord is He Who will also break us from the very things that keep us from you when we know deep down inside that we need to step away and let you mold us into the vessels you created us to be. Break every chain that keeps us in bondage, break every yoke that is unclean, demolish every stronghold that says we cannot break free, help us to cast down every imagination that could make us reprobate.

Remove not thyself away from us Lord, please do not close your ears to our pleas, our cries when we fall into sin. Our heart says yes but our flesh is says no. Help us to die to the very things that hurt you, the very things that separate us from you my God. Lord, you tell us that if we love you that we would keep your commandments. Help us! Save us from ourselves. Take away every thing that is not pleasing to you. All fear and doubts we carry is not of you. You did not give a spirit of fear or timidity, but one of power and love and a sound mind.

Let not sickness, death, life uncertainties and challenges keep us from trusting You. No matter what the storms looks like, you can speak to it and it will cease upon Your command. Every thing on this earth must bow down to you, Father. Satan himself cannot do anything to us that you will not allow. Nothing goes unnoticed or comes as a surprise to You. Nothing done even in darkness can hide from you. Every temptation we have comes from a desire rising up like a fury furnace awaiting to smolder us like a fire’s smoke that we cannot see beyond our hand. Let it not choke us and kill us.

We need you Father, we need Your Holy Spirit, we need Jesus more and more each day. May we hasten to throne, let us fall to our knees with a contrite heart repenting of our sins known and unknown asking to be made over, to be clay in your hands that we will be shaped and refined. Let us worship You in spirit and in truth, dance before you as we share with those around us that OUR GOD has found favor in us. Thank you for being the Great I AM, the Lover of our souls, the mighty King that receives honor and glory at all times. You reign on high. Hallelujah! Praises be unto Thy Holy Name.

In Your Son’s name I pray, Amen.”

I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet.

And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters And thick clouds of the skies. From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O Lord, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils. He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me.

They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not wickedly departed from my God. For all His judgments were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me. I was also blameless before Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity. Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight. With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless; With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd. For You will save the humble people, But will bring down haughty looks.

For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip. I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. I have wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet.

For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. They cried out, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them. Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets. You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; You have made me the head of the nations; A people I have not known shall serve me. As soon as they hear of me they obey me; The foreigners submit to me. The foreigners fade away, And come frightened from their hideouts. The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God who avenges me, And subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name. Great deliverance He gives to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore. (Psalm 18:1-50 NKJV)

Bicycle Missions

I posted the other day about Pastor Stephen McKay and put up a page to give you an idea of what he does and who he is. I would like to take the time today to tell you a little something about one of the things that he is raising money for. It is not for his own ministry, he has support for that, it is to help others in their ministry. He is doing that with bicycles.

Why bicycles? Pastor McKay explained it this way, last year when  was in Tanzania he discovered that the local Pastors were having to walk 20 miles and more at times to spread the gospel. Either that or if they were blessed with a bicycle, travel that way. He decided that it would be his mission in part to provide them bicycles in order to spread the gospel easier and to be able to be a blessing to these Pastors. God has worked wonderfully. Pastor McKay was back in Tanzania a couple of weeks ago and  reported this:

“We arrived at Assedi’s apartment where we will be staying, and fellowshipped for a while. We then headed to downtown mwanza to exchange money into Tanzanian shillings for the week stay we will be here, and also to purchase bicycles for the pastors here.

A few months before I left I began raising money to purchase bicycles for evangelists who travel and preach the Gospel. I was able to raise $1500 and with that we were able to purchase 17 bicycles in total for them. The brothers here told me that buying a pastor or an evangelist a bicycle is the equivalent of purchasing him a Cadillac. They value them greater than we can imagine, and use them to spread the Gospel far and wide. We walked into a small bike shop and negotiated with the owner on the price. She finally came to a final price of $81.00 each. Here’s a picture of a few partly assembled.

Because we ordered 17 of them, they will have to assemble them over the next day or so and then we will have them delivered on the last day of the conference. It’s going to be a great day!

Would you be interested in contributing to the spreading of the gospel through raising money for bicycles? If you would please contact Vessel Of Honor Ministries here: VOHM

This is a contact page and Pastor McKay will get back to you when he can, but I can assure you that it is a worthy ministry and you will be helping to spread the gospel in a part of the world that greatly needs it. God bless you!

A.W. Tozer : Truth that Seeks Lost People

Our Lord said, I am the Truth, and again He said, The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Truth therefore is not hard to find for the very reason that it is seeking us. Truth is not a thing for which we must search, but a Person to whom we must hearken. This is taught or taken for granted in the record of Gods dealings with men throughout the Sacred Scriptures. After the sin in Eden it was not Adam who cried O God, where art Thou? but God who cried Where art thou? as He sought for Adam among the trees of the Garden. Abraham heard God speak and responded, but it was God who was the aggressor. God appeared unto Jacob before Jacob came to appear before God. And in the burning bush God revealed Himself to Moses. Again and again did God take the initiative. He sought for Gideon and found him on the threshing floor of Ophrah. He showed Himself to Isaiah when there is no evidence that Isaiah was seeking Him. Before Jeremiah was born God laid His hand upon him, and He opened heaven to let the discouraged priest Ezekiel see a vision and hear a voice. Amos said he was not a prophet neither a prophets son, but the Lord took him as he followed the flock. Again God was the aggressor. In the New Testament things are not otherwise. True, multitudes came to Christ for physical help, but only rarely did one seek Him out to learn the truth; and even that rare one usually turned away when the truth was told him. The whole picture in the Gospels is one of a seeking Savior, not one of seeking men. The truth was hunting for those who would receive it, and relatively few did. Many are called, but few are chosen.

Padlock on Shiva Temple!! by Pastor Kerry Mauldin

Our next to last day in the villages and we had 2 churches we dedicated, gave 1 well and 3 more churches!!  8 baptisms today and 66 baptisms last 3 weeks!!
I’ll start by sharing the last village!
Went to Thatikalli Village–Toddy tree Village–alcohol tree.  Met Pastor Satyam (Truth).  He came to Christ 8 years ago.  “Please, I am the only believer in my family, but tonight they are all gathered for you to share.”  We sat with his Mom, dad, Brother, aunts, uncles…room full.  These worship Shiva and the family has a temple outside the house on the road.
satyam shared that 8 years ago ge went to Ganges River and all big temples at age 32 looking for “Truth”.  He had no peace and only thought of suicide and death.  He had been married 12 years and had no children.
He walked barefoot 20 miles to SriSailam to worship Shive–covered with flowers and all family cheered him on.  Just wanted to die!!
He sold all his property and was left with nothing…
He was introduced to Jesus.  He had nothing in this world, so accepted Christ.  “Within 10 days my life was turned around.  I felt peace, no voice to kill myself, business and we had a baby, Divya “special one”.
Tonight, the whole family was in agreement that Satyam was totally different and they wanted to listen.  As we shared, they asked many probing questions.  At the end, the whole family prayed the prayer of salvation.  We all went outside and took family picture.  Satyam and his brother Siadalu, took oil and put a shield around that Shiva temple and satan can not cross the blood of Jesus.  All family had voiced their fear of turning from Shiva.  But they took huge step of faith.
We gave Prayer Shed and went to family roadside snack stand and prayed…
Amazing thing…the Shiva Temple had been locked with all shiva chains and worship things locked inside.  The god could not open the door or lock!!  But no door or stone could hold our Lord!!!
Subbareddygudem set the tone for the day.  We went to dedicate this small but good church!  About 100 packed inside full…. They listened and 3 times shared the Gospel as so many kept coming and all people would scruntch up closer so more could enter.  It rained all thru the day so no one could work in cotton fields.  So many came today to hear as they were free from the fields…   5 took baptism in barrel.  We could hardly manage as so many people!!
Gave bore well for water to Indupamala womens group. It will save 45 minutes per day walking to get water…  PLEASE!!!
We issued a challenge… “What will you do with all the free time saved? ather the women all together and write a plan how the water well will bless the village and also how it will help you win souls for Christ?  They took the challenge with joy!  This village Calvary AG gave for church in 2010 and today it is beautiful and finished!
These women fixed lunch and this village is 65% Christian and very clean for Indian village.
I shared with them the blessing of the lunch they gave and also that this is one of cleanest villages I’ve ever seen.  They were so so thankful and blessed.  They kept wanting to kiss my hand!    Blessing, but I have incredible wife sitting beside me!  Touched us both at the way that comment blessed those women!!
So thankful for the many souls today that heard the Gospel that had never heard before!
Today is fulfilling the purpose of this ministry..  Planting churches in new villages as first church in a village and sharing love of Christ.  So many good things, page of journal is so full…
One more village day!
With thanks, love and prayers!!

Update from Pastor Kerry Mauldin

Well of Blessing and Fleece of Faith

by Kerry Mauldin

Today was a bit more tedious.  This is the last of 9 days of Bakkamma Festival in hinduism.  They worship the female goddess with dancing, flowers, and all walk in parade with the flowers by candlelight and throw all into village water supply for fertility and blessing!  That was last night, then today so many drink and especially men laying all over in the roads…  We have to be careful which homes to go!
Went to Ilapuram Village to dedicate the only village well, drilled by Homestyle Asst. Living Home in Springdale, AR.
When drilled, villagers related the drilling company came about midnight to drill and dust was a cloud everywhere.  The hindu priest and village leaders came and said not to drill as there was no water here.  The 30 believers were in the small Prayer Shed fervently praying.  It went to 100′ deep and no water.  “We were all crying out to the Lord and village saying to stop drilling.”  When hit 120′, it hit a water that gushed 40 yards and all were in amazement and all villagers shared it was the power of their God!!
The closest neighbor who is hindu and never gone to church, but had accident 10 days ago and got steel rod in his foot, related all thgis to me as his heart was now open to hear the Gospel.  He has buffalo and oxen and wants Eternal Life, now has heard how to recieve—because a well gushed water on his land when he thought it impossible!!!
The first believer in the village is Lalithamma, 22 years.  She has led 50 families to Christ now.  She led us to her nephew, Bicksham-“Beggar”-laying on a cot in front of tiny hut at noon after drinking the night in festival to the demons.  He was alert and sat and listened to the Gospel.  He was finally persuaded and prayed the prayer of salvation!!!
Dedicated athe church in BB Gudem given by New River AG in AZ.
Dedicated Raynegudem given By San Jacinto in Amarillo-also a nice strong church…
Went to Snake Village–Pamalapadu–where pastor Emmanuel and wife and 3 sons do a good work.  They need a well as they only get water every 4 days for 15 minutes as there is a severe shortage at the small tank for the village and no wells.
She shared of the challenges and shared they were praying for faith that God would prompt my heart to help and drill a well.
We were sitting under a covering in the rain and dark as electric was off from the rain.  They shared when Dr. Mast and I last visited their home 6 years ago it also rained.  “Visit more often and water won’t be a problem , they shared”.
I thought to have some lighter fun, and shared that as Gideon wanted something from God, he put a fleece before God to build his faith.  I shared, “Let’s put a fleece before God about drilling this well since you are praying for faith…. If electric comes on in next 10 minutes, by 730 we will know…”
I appeared serious, but already knew we would drill.
At 728 the electric came on and they all jumped up shouting with joy and laughing and praising God!!
I was careful to make clear setting a fleece is not normally Gods way and He prefers we trust him and not try to force him with our way…
But it was a night of joy and fun!!
Berryville Christian Fellowship “Wellie” is now given!!
With so much love thanks and prayers,
Kerry and Melody

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

Stained glass at St John the Baptist’s Anglican Church, Ashfield, New South Wales. Illustrates Jesus’ description of himself “I am the Good Shepherd” (from the Gospel of John, chapter 10, verse 11). This version of the image shows the detail of his face. The memorial window is also captioned: “To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of William Wright. Died 6th November, 1932. Aged 70 Yrs.” (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

This morning 630AM we went to Gedemetla church dedicated in 2009 in rock quarry area.  The church is running regular about 200 now and many children are fed daily and study after school…  There is excitement and vision to expand!  This was a joy since Roundup Cowboy Church in Antlers Ok helped build it even in the Cowboy churches first year of existence!  I was so glad Jonathon and Tammy could see their investment!!

The churches are coming up well and next 12 days are packed with dedications and inspecting new sites…

Yesterday we went to three villages and saw God at work in all 3.
Kollur Village, we set on the porch of a tiny home with many people gathered around to hear the Gospel.  This house belong to a hardworking couple who have simple jobs in the field at age 50.  The man is solid grey and he and wife have had 15 days of agony and searching for answers from God… as their gods haven’t answered!!
15 days ago their only child, a daughter 28, left the nearby place on bus to town with bag of red chilis.  She is “very pretty” and had many nice gold ornaments from her marriage.  People said the bus stopped and she was taken off and put in an auto… probably for her gold.  It has been 15 days.
Village people have no bank accounts, so wear their life savings around the neck in a gold necklace.  With price of gold…  Lord help Maheswari!!  Help her parents!!
Her Mom said clearly, “if this God brings my daughter, I will pull all the gods and serve Him.”  She took the challenge to ask God to speak to her…

In Kollur, 2 take baptism and it was a joy to watch so many many kids run the mile plus distance to the baptism site out in the field under the big trees.  They get so excited and bubble over with joy!  It is such a privilege to be around them, even though I’m still on crutches and running as fast as I can…but getting better!!

Chada Village–“SHELTER”  is the name the church has given for the town and church!  The town has no meaning in its name.  When I asked, they said, “We want it to mean Shelter.”   70-80 adult members have constructed a nice church right on main road.   It is the only church in town of 1000 families and has 2 mosques and 3 hindu temples!  The 35 Christian families are working hard on the church but had little vision beyond!!  We shared and encouraged them for almost 2 hours.  It was so needed and good…  Directly across the road are the hindu standing stones where they cut chickens to Ellamma, the rock goddess who brings “good luck”.
These villages have so much demonic as sacrifices are brought regularly to the demons who have such a lock and curse on so many lives…
This church can truly be a shelter with the loves of Jesus from the demonic in this village.

We went to a wealthy family in town to share.  They have 20 acres and the father 40’s was sick and very open to the Gospel!!

The last village blessed me by the zeal and excitement of 8 teen boys who hungered to share Christ.
When we came to Mogalipaka Village several months ago, the “red bush village” only had a small bamboo thatch church.  The pastor has a zeal and such bright alive eyes–you can see his heart.  These many teen boys have caught the contagious life from pastor.
They built a prayer shed that looked great, with concrete block walls and good roof!
We share salvation bracelets and those boys were all over that way of sharing Christ.  Not only did they hear and catch on, they pleaded for bracelets to use to share and withinhalf an hour, they were spread out sharing Christ in the village.  As we went to small houses, we could see them.
One of young men, his father 40 had a stroke so we went to pray.  The young man came to Christ 6 months ago, but today as he help the salvation bracelet and Gods hope, He got to pray with his bedridden father and sister (17 and pretty and sharp girl who then asked for a Bible!!

It is awesome joy to see zeal in the teens and give them 5 Salvation bracelets each to share Christ!!
