We always pray for those in need and those who request it. We have a new prayer request this morning and I appreciate you adding this one to your prayers. God bless you all!
Prayer for healing for Carlo from cancer:
Please pray for my friend’s friend Carlo. He is suffering from cancer. The doctor has given him only three months to live. He is only 45 years , is married and has two kids. My friend Steffano told me about him. His friend’s condition is really draining him. I love Jesus Christ and I know He is a miracle working God but I too am afraid and don’t have faith about this. Can God really heal Carlo? Pray for me too that I can believe more and pray for Steffano and his friends that they may know our Lord Jesus Christ..
Thankyou and God bless you.
King James Version (KJV)
34 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lordshall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

FEB. 17 – Billy Sunday: Baseball Star Preacher
He was born during the Civil War in a log cabin in Iowa.
His father, a Union Army soldier, died of pneumonia when Billy was a month old.
At age 15, he struck out on his own, working several jobs before playing baseball.
His career took off when he was recruited by A.G. Spalding, owner of the White Stockings and founder of Spalding Sporting Goods Company.
Sunday became one of the most popular athletes in the nation.
While leaving a Chicago saloon with some other players in 1886, he heard a group of gospel singers on the street from the Pacific Garden Mission.
Attracted by the hymns he had heard his mother sing, Sunday began attending services at the mission, where he experienced a conversion.
He began attending YMCA meetings, quit drinking and got married.
A national sensation occurred FEBRUARY 17, 1889, when Billy Sunday preached his first sermon as a Christian evangelist in Chicago.
He went on to pioneer preaching over broadcast radio so enthusiastically that the FCC was formed in response.
During the next 46 years, till his death November 6, 1935, over 100 million people would hear him.
In his animated style, Billy Sunday said:
“The devil says I’m out, but the Lord says I’m safe.”
“Temptation is the devil looking through the keyhole. Yielding is opening the door and inviting him in.”
“Live so that when the final summons comes you will leave something more behind you than an epitaph on a tombstone.”
“I never see a man or a woman or boy or girl but I do not think that God has a plan for them…He will use each of us to His glory if we will only let Him.”
“Rivers of America will run with blood filled to their banks before we will submit to them taking the Bible out of our schools.”
“Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you an automobile.”

This is not the type of post that I usually put up but I found it interesting and disturbing as well as a look into how different cultures treat life, as well as how Christianity differs from some of the disparate religions in the world.
We are often shocked by the behaviors of other cultures and we really don’t believe in some of the stories that are told, but I am going to bring some politics into this as well. We are a nation founded on Christianity and no matter how some would like to claim that is not the truth, there is too much evidence for them to make that case. If we continue to allow our faith to be put to the side and other values entered into our society, how long before this kind of thing becomes totally acceptable here? We are already being pushed to accept things that we as Christians find morally repugnant, such as homosexuality, abortion, and yes, even multiple wives. We see the morals of our children denigrated, God forbidden in the public square, and sexual perversions encouraged in our schools.
Some may ask “What does this have to do with the story here?” Let me explain, when you keep lowering your standards, and letting your guard down on your own beliefs, you tell the world that your own beliefs are not that important and that you are willing to accept what others think into your own house. Because truthfully, our country is an extension of our homes, or at least that is the way it was intended in my own opinion. And if we do not stand up and put God back into our country and our schools, will God leave us totally and will we find ourselves someday, being forced to compromise to the extent that anything is acceptable. God bless! And thanks to Oiya Brown for introducing me to this blog, please take time to check hers out as well.

It was another village that has run out of women because of killing them before or after birth! These villagers bought women from poor communities through pimps that thrived on that business in the pretext of marriage then they became sex slaves of the entire family. Apart from being…

Good or bad, they stick with us. The good ones we cherish and hope that we will always keep them. The bad ones we wish we could forget. I used to pray to God to take the bad memories away. I felt that I simply could not continue to live with them. I realized after some time, that although God didn’t remove the memories, He made them bearable. And as time passed, the pain was less and less. It seemed that forgiving those who caused the pain, helped in my own healing. And although it is a continuing process, I have come to realize that there is a benefit from those painful memories. My Pastor preached last week on the necessity of forgiveness and he remarked on how painful memories helped us learn and helped keep us from making mistakes. As he was speaking, I realized that there was another benefit from those painful memories. By having those memories, I have been give the opportunity to have some understanding of others who are going through similar situations. I may not be able to solve their problems, but with God’s help, I can be an understanding shoulder to lean upon, and an ear that can and will listen. And above all that, I can be an example of God’s ability to turn the bad into something totally different. I am an example that no matter how worthless I thought I was at one time, God doesn’t see me that way. Far from it!!! He gave His Son that we would have an opportunity to choose a different path. A chance to help others and a chance to be someone well and truly loved. No matter what else, the rewards that I have already reaped will be nothing compared to what He has promised. But truthfully, the happiness and freedom that I received when I accepted His sacrifice is more than I ever expected in my life. There is an old song that talks about joy unspeakable and it is so true. The peace that I felt was overwhelming and like nothing else. And all I had to do was accept. I thank God our Holy Father, and JesusHis wonderful Son and my Savior, that I said yes.
And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?”
The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men,
“Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”
Then they went out of the city and came to Him.
In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”
But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.:
Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for the harvest!
“And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
“For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’
“I sent to you to reap that for which you have not labored, others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”
Where will you be when judgment comes? We see all around us how quickly things can change. Whether it be from a storm, natural causes, or accident, we never know really when that moment will happen. Sometimes things happen, such as a diagnosis of cancer, where they give you a certain time frame. But is it enough, really to get our house in order?
Where do you want to be? Do you believe in God? You know the old saying “time waits for no man,” but did you know that God is the creator of time? He will make time for you if you want Him! Did you know that?
He is an awesome God, He is the creator of all things! He doesn’t need us, and yet He gave us His Son in order that we have the opportunity of eternal life! Are you really, honestly willing to settle for what you have here and now?
I heard some radio personality mocking the recent tornado victims, and mocking God, and it saddened me. Here is a man that is obviously not happy, and yet he thinks that those of faith are losers. I am not sure if the man is ignorant because no one has ever really talked to him about God, or if he is deliberately mocking God. Either way, the real loss will be for him in the end.
Those who lost their lives, if they were believers, are in a better place, and those who lost their property, know that it is not that important. Our treasure is not here on earth, it is in heaven. I pray for them all, and I especially pray that those who don’t know God, will have their hearts opened to Him. God bless.
Watching and listening to this video makes me wonder if these people are even able to see anything past the nose on their face. You listen to them talk about how they should take from the rich and use it for themselves and you realize that the greediness that they exhibit is staggering. It is not that they even want to help others, there is no altruism here at all, they just want to take. They seem to have no idea of the process of producing anything. What do these people do anyway? They seem to believe that things just exist and that the only reason there are workers is because someone wants to enslave others.
Their ignorance of reality is evidence of the failure of our education system and the success of those who wish to enslave these people via communism. The indoctrination of this generation is almost totally complete. They are taught from birth that the world owes them and that if it doesn’t provide they should just take it. They have been convinced that the value of life is only as much as what it benefits them. If there is a cost, pregnancy, the elderly, the disabled, their enemies, they can be done away with. There are no consequences for their actions. Only excuses. No accountability, it is always someone else’s fault. This attitude is encouraged by many on the highest level, and any type of responsibility is stomped on.
This is probably the very reason that there is such a hatred for those who believe in God and Jesus Christ. There is an accountability in Christianity, either on earth when you are alive or afterwards. God requires you to be responsible for your actions. The people that push this type of attitude don’t want to be responsible for anything. They want the freedom to do anything they want. If others accept that God exists, they are forced to face the possibility that they might be wrong. If they can erase God, they can rest easier knowing that everyone will have the same fate. True equality at the very last. Other religions don’t get the same treatment that Christianity gets because they don’t have the same accountability.
That is the true essence of what these people believe. They want to do what ever they want without the cost at the end. They sometimes make the excuse that they are thinking of others, but it doesn’t take much for the real objective comes out. This is not a fight for equality, this is simple greed! You might have more than what they have and they want to make sure that you don’t. They have never had to experience real poverty, they have never had to work for anything themselves, and they make the assumption that it applies to everyone. They have no knowledge of how to produce anything, they have no knowledge of how milk gets to their table. To them it has always been there without any effort on their part, ergo, anyone who has more, just had someone give it to them or they took from others.
The only way that this attitude is ever going to change is to change the way that these people are educated. There is going to have to be a change in the way they are held responsible for their actions. There is going to have to be a change in the attitudes of how we punish people. There is going to have to be an accounting. God help us all!
