Press Release from The Arkansas Sheriff’s Association on the 2nd Amendment

“The Arkansas Sheriff’s Association supports the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment rights of our citizens’. We recognize the recent increase in violence and mass shootings have raised questions relating to the sale and possession of firearms. The Arkansas Sheriff’s Association further believes that we must hold offenders responsible, not law abiding citizens.

The Arkansas Sheriff’s Association does support enforcement of the existing gun laws and the strengthening of current back ground checks including identifying individuals with mental health issues. The Arkansas Sheriff’s Association does not support legislation that restricts current gun possession or sales to our citizens that weakens our 2nd Amendment rights.

Thanks to Johnson County Sheriff, Jim Dorney, for the heads up!

The Tricks of the Magician

SATAN SAYS (Photo credit: rafaelm)

“1 Corinthians 14:20

King James Version (KJV)

20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

Ephesians 4:27

King James Version (KJV)

27 Neither give place to the devil.”\

Have you ever watched a magician? It is amazing at how fast their hands are and at how good they are at the art of distraction! While we watch one hand they are doing something totally different with their other hand. As children we think that they are really performing magic, as adults most of us realize what they are doing and yet still admire their skill and ability, even if we are not sure how they do it. That is the thing, we recognize that it is not real, that it is simply illusion. And yet it seems that more and more people are not recognizing the illusions of this world and are simply accepting them as fact.

What do I mean by this? When someone in this country commits an evil act such as murder, whether it is the murder of innocents as in the shootings at Sandy Hook, or the case of Jovan Belcher, killing
himself and his girlfriend. Those who have an agenda use distraction and a willingness of their audience to promote the prohibition of what they think is bad for the rest of us. Or look to Mayor Bloomberg of New York City, who decides that he knows what is best for the residents of his city and therefore he has the right and responsibility to prevent the people from obtaining those things, such large sweet drinks. Or the case of the small town in my state of Arkansas, Paragould, where the local mayor and sheriff have decided that the increase of crime in the area gives them the right to patrol the streets with guns over their shoulders and stop every citizen. And if these citizens can not give them a reason to be out of their homes for a walk, they are subject to arrest. This is a process that is unconstitutional and yet the mayor and the sheriff are using the illusion of security in order to force the citizens of this town to obey their will.
Satan does the same thing!!!!! He puts on the face of goodness and rightness in order to delude us. He pretends to offer us security and safety in order to lull us into accepting him instead of our God and His loving Son Jesus! He does this in ways that seem so reasonable, gay lifestyle for instance. He tells us that we must accept people living this way because this is what the world says is acceptable now. We have to be current. The Bible is old, written by men who know nothing of how the world is today. Never mind that we have evidence in the Book itself that they were perfectly aware of homosexual lifestyle, see Sodom and Gomorrah. Or abortion, or any number of things that he uses to soften people up to his ways and not the Lord’s ways.
Satan uses things of this world to insert his evil into the world. He uses violence and desentisizes us and our children to it by way of movies, videos, games, and even war. We are constantly surrounded by it. Whether it is here in the US or in other parts of the world. Here with video games that get people so used to pulling trigger to kill the opponents on the screen, knowing that if they are killed in the game, they will be reborn at the start of a new game. Did you ever stop to wonder how that infulences the mind of the vulnerable? They start so early and this idea of being reborn to start the game over is imprinted in their minds from the very beginning. This is a wonderful tool for Satan to use don’t you think? How many of these people that kill in cold blood think that they are going to face judgment from a righteous God for their actions? Jesus tell us that if we even think about murder that we have sinned, and yet we allow our children to do this! Does not this make our sin even greater? That by our action or inaction we allow our children to be corrupted and Satan to have foot in the door.
That my friends, is one of the great illusions that Satan is putting over this world! And he is doing so because we are letting him. We let false prophets teach that we should adjust to the world, and rewrite to Bible to fit the times. We ignore the things of this world as if they are not important.  There is a reason that we have been told not to be part of this world.  We are falling for the illusions of Satan. We are allowing our children to be used in ways that we don’t even recognize and then wonder at their actions when they are older.
We are falling for the ploy of those promoting the evil of the Father of lies by concentrating on what others are doing, objects that they object to, language that they don’t like, faith that they abhor, and on whether or not we insult or hurt someones feelings by what we preach and what we teach. We are falling for Satan’s lies by allowing others to decide what is best for our children to learn, to do, to eat, to play and so many other things.
Satan is the great magician, the father of lies, the first illusionist! We had better wake up and recognize the illusions and teach our children what God wants them to learn instead of what the world thinks is right for them. If we do not, we are giving them over to Satan and damning them for eternity. Objects will always be available to be used. It is evil that pushes people to commit horrific acts. We need to change the focus to the reason and not let the illusion  continue.

Update on Agenda 21 Alert for Clinton, Ar. via Secure Arkansas

Cattle (Photo credit: CameliaTWU)

I got a comment from someone who understands the problems with this and some of the questions that need answers. I am posting the comment with permission and the hope that there are others out there who also understand the problems.

This is a act that is a act brought upon by the clean water activist in the country. My name is not enclosed for privacy however I run cattle near these farmers on this area of the red river it will not only exclude them of there natural rights to there land and it’s resources but set back logging production and the natural gas that supplies much of the needed money in the Economy for this small community. However do to commits and letters sent into the u.s. game and fish “which is a different branch than Arkansas game and fish commission” has set the dead line back on it to may of this year

Questions that needed to be asked

•after the Yellowcheek darter has been on the endangered list for almost 10 years why is it such a up roar now?

• why must the cattleman in Arkansas and hunter and fishers leave the natural rights to fish or hunt or graze there land?

•why isn’t the dam in greers ferry taken into review to see if they can help without making the average land owner suffer for this?

•why is cattle two catagories of harming this species won’t other natural animals still stir water and drink from these same rivers are cattle can not?

• who will pay for the bridges and fences needed to keep cattle out?

There are a lot of good questions here, but I would like to point out a few other things. The farmers and ranchers who will suffer, are just the beginning of the suffering. It spreads out from here to all of us that eat food or transport food. It makes it scarcer and it drives the price up because of this. How many people are going to have to make drastic changes in their diet because of this? How many people are going to go hungry, or worse, because they can not afford to feed themselves or their families. If you think that being able to provide for yourself or your family is important, you had better start paying attention and perhaps start asking some hard questions about what the government intends for our future. And whether you consider yourself a patriot or not, is beside the point. This is about our ability to survive.

Your private property rights are at risk. When you sign onto any government program, YOU GIVE UP YOUR PROPERTY RIGHTS.

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service will have a public meeting for their proposed designation of the Yellowcheek Darter to the endangered species list. This affects the following five counties in Arkansas:  Cleburne, Pope, Searcy, Stone and Van Buren. This covers approximately 87,000 acres directly adjacent to the habitat streams of the Yellowcheek Darter.  You must protect your property rights at all costs and not sign up for ANY GOVERNMENT PROGRAM. The following documents cover the details the U. S. Fish and Wildlife would like for all property owners to sign up for:

The  Federal Register lists the Proposed rule change for adding  Proposed Designation of Critical Habitat for the Cumberland Darter, Rush Darter, Yellowcheek Darter, Chucky Madtom, and Laurel Dace. For Arkansas it is only the Yellowcheek Darter.

In 1962, the construction of a dam on the Little Red River to create Greers Ferry Reservoir impounded much of the range of the yellowcheek darter, including the lower reaches of Devil’s Fork, Middle Fork, South Fork, and portions of the main stem Little Red River, thus extirpating the species from these reaches.
The yellowcheek darter was also extirpated from the Little Red River downstream of Greers Ferry Reservoir due to cold tailwater releases. The lake flooded optimal habitat for the species, and caused genetic isolation of populations (McDaniel 1984, p.1), with only the South and Archey forks of the Little Red River maintaining a non-inundated confluence.

Additional sites show the government caused the problem with the Yellowcheek Darter when they constructed Geer’s Ferry Reservoir.

The historic range has been impacted by the construction of Greer’s Ferry Reservoir and channel alterations in the Archey and South Forks. Further, the construction of Greer’s Ferry Reservoir has resulted in the permanent loss of habitat due to inundation and cold-water releases from the dam.

Endangered Species Act Fraud
In doing some research on the Endangered Species Act, the following alarming reports appear to reflect that fraud is being used to get a species listed as an Endangered Species. These are only a few of many examples found.

Dear friends,

The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting five public workshops in February on its proposal for cost-cutting changes at its parks, according to a news release. Please see the announcement below for information on the Army Corps of Engineers public workshops being held in February.

If anyone in Secure Arkansas can attend any of these meetings near you, please do so and let us know what occurs at the meetings. If you are a Secure Arkansas director, please make it a point to attend one of these meetings because we simply cannot afford not to. We must be there. This will pertain to Agenda 21.

The Corps’ Little Rock District is considering changing operations at 29 parks, including closing 13 campgrounds, four partial campgrounds, four day-use areas, one partial day-use area and nine boat ramps.

The district’s operation and maintenance budget has been cut by about $17 million this year, the news release said. The already-proposed recreation changes will reduce costs by an estimated $1.9 million annually.

Also under consideration are ideas to shorten the season at many parks and reducing the frequency of trash pickup, cleaning and mowing and other maintenance work. The district expects to hire fewer temporary park rangers and contract park attendants as well.

There will be no group presentations during the workshops, but members of the public are invited to talk individually with Corps representatives. Workers will also accept written comments at the workshops.

Workshops will be held at:

Clearwater Lake, 1 to 4 p.m., Feb. 9, Clearwater Project Office adjacent to Clearwater Dam in Piedmont, Missouri

Greers Ferry Lake, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., Feb. 9, William Carl Garner Visitor Center on Arkansas 25 North, just west of Greers Ferry Dam near Heber Springs

Lake Nimrod, Lake Dardanelle and Toad Suck Ferry and Murray pools of the Arkansas River, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., Feb. 14, Russellville Project Office at 1598 Lock and Dam Road in Russellville

Ozark Lake, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., Feb. 16, Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative at 1811 W. Commercial St. in Ozark

School Choice Week in Arkansas – Four Special Events

“We have a moral and societal obligation to give our children the opportunity to succeed in school, at work, and in life. We cannot meet that obligation unless parents are empowered to select the best schools of their children. I encourage everyone who wants to see a transformation of American education to get involved in National School Choice Week.” ~ Bill Cosby

by Laurie L M Lee:  We need a “regime change” in Arkansas Education. While Arkansas spends over $3 billion per year  on education and we have the most amazing teachers and best school facilities, Arkansas  is ranked 50th by Heartland Inst. for progress in learning and 37th in Academic Standards. WE NEED OPTIONS.Arkansas’ education system specifically its structures, its policies and its operational guidelines are failing our children. According to the U of A Ed Policy more than 25% of our students are NOT proficient in reading or math upon completion of the 8th grade and it gets worse from there.  Over 50% of Arkansas high school graduates have to go through remediation before taking their first college level course.

Education Week published a report last week grading states on educational policy and performance, Arkansas received a (D) in over all achievement K-12; (F) in spending and a (C-) in chance for success.

As of June 30,2011 Arkansas public school districts and ESC had outstanding loans and bonded indebtedness totaling over $3.5 BILLION, and increase of over $1billion in just 4 years. Arkansans spend the lions share of our general budget on education and the results are dreadful.

I am asked frequently how people can become more involved and help with issues in our state.
There are four events planned next week, Jan 23rd-28th, around Arkansas to shine a light on the need for options, giving ALL children a chance at excellence in education. Read the rest at:
