Attempting to obey God and follow Jesus Christ our Lord

Unconfirmed reports are trickling out of the Middle East stating last Monday an explosion rocked the Fordonuclear enrichment facility in Iran. Western news agencies haven’t corroborated the story; however, World News Daily is reporting that Hamidreza Zakeri, formerly a member of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and National Security, has confirmed the facility had been hit.

fordo iranWhile accurate information can be difficult to get out of this notoriously secretive regime, there are reportedly over 240 people trapped underground in Iran’s second largest nuclear facility.

Iranian officials out of Tehran believe the explosion was the result of sabotage.

Rumors of this being pulled off by Israel are already circulating. Israel has been an outspoken opponent of Iran becoming nuclear capable, and in 1981 Israel was able to dismantle Iraq’s nuclear program through a bombing raid — known as Operation Opera — on largely centralized, above ground facilities.

  1. There is something sounding inside of me that says this may not be true. They could have faked something. Israel and US has been warning them to halt their program…and something was going to happen soon..as in March… well, this occurrence takes care of that..IF it is true. I’m hearing that verse in my head on peace and safety and sudden destruction. Furthermore, they would not want anyone to know about this because their enemies will know they are temporarily weakened. Hmmm…just something stirring in my spirit. I have seen this all over the news, and in fact made a post about it the other day…but like I said, something keeps going off inside of me saying it’s a sham.

    • You could be right, I haven’t seen much outrage and blaming of Israel which would be expected. I have seen several post but have waited to see if there is anything more.

  2. I am thinking that maybe, it was an accidental explosion and Iran not wanting anymore heat from the west about safety and the like, may have intentionally “leaked” the word and planted the seed that it was Israel who sabotaged their progress. In either case what about the radiation effects on the rest of the country and the region? Are there any indications of an elevated amount in the atmosphere?

    • I like Lyn have many questions about the reality of this. I haven’t read anything about the atmosphere even being tested and this supposedly happened a few days ago. The times of Israel says it has not been able to confirm it. It there was radioactivity in the atmosphere, it would be easy to pick up and I am sure they have monitors.

      • You would think so.. What would be their purpose of creating a false incident? Unless it was an industrial accident and they are trying to place the blame on Israel just to save face..

        • Perhaps just an accident but exaggerated to see how the world would react, to see if people would blame Israel.and make them turn even further away.
